inforcer helps Utilize save hundreds of hours on policy and configuration deployment  

Before using inforcer, Utilize was building their baseline for each customer from scratch and deploying policies manually. This was extremely time consuming for their engineers. Utilize were pushing their baseline policies to more than 80 customers and it would take a few days per customer for them to deliver their projects, which was not scalable.  

They needed a faster, repeatable way to align customers to their standard and reduce human error while providing the visibility and reporting capabilities they needed to scale their service. 

Utilize chose to onboard their premium customer base into inforcer so they could immediately assess their full landscape, identify customers who did not meet their standards, and begin uplift projects as quickly as possible. 

Tenant Alignment has allowed Utilize to create a baseline containing more than 90 of their ideal policies and settings and push these across multiple customers at the same time. They can now deliver multiple projects at a time across their customer base with only one engineer. 

Utilize has set up alerts in inforcer so they know when a tenant has deviated from their baseline standards. They can then review and remediate or accept approved changes.  The reporting function has allowed them to monitor customer environments consistently, maintain a strong understanding of their configuration and security posture, and enforce good hygiene across accounts. 

One of the biggest benefits for Utilize has been improved operational scalability. inforcer has saved hundreds of hours of time for Utilize’s project engineers as they can quickly and accurately deploy policies and settings and easily identify and rectify baseline creep.  

Their security team has also saved a significant amount of time as alerts quickly highlight missing configurations, such as not having multi-factor authentication on admin accounts. They can now easily target those accounts and make them compliant.
