One of the constraints MSPs face when implementing or testing new Microsoft 365 policy configurations is the lack of a safe rollback option. Without a backup of the current working state, implementing a new Defender policy baseline or adjusting Conditional Access rules for a tenant carries a risk: if the change has unintended effects, the path back is manual.
