Based in Austin, GCS Technologies has been delivering IT maintenance, support and security services to small and mid-sized businesses for over twenty years. As certified Microsoft partners, GCS Technologies has a depth of knowledge and expertise in Microsoft services and is a trusted managed services and cyber security provider.

Prior to using inforcer, GCS Technologies faced several operational challenges across their Microsoft 365 tenants. Policy naming conventions varied widely between tenants, which frequently led to confusion and extra verification work. Many policies had to be manually configured, increasing the likelihood of human error. Pushing Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) required logging into each tenant individually, which was time-consuming and difficult to track consistently.
They also lacked a centralized, easy-to-consume view of policy configurations, as well as a reliable process for backing up policies or alerting on policy changes. In addition, Apple MDM certificate management was largely reactive. They occasionally discovered expirations only after the 30-day grace period had already passed.
inforcer enables GCS Technologies to audit tenants to ensure their standard baseline policies are consistently applied, making it easy to identify which tenants are missing newly implemented policies.
Tenant alignment has been one of the most helpful features in inforcer for GCS Technologies, providing them with the ability to centrally manage and push IOCs across tenants. This has streamlined a process that was previously very manual.
GCS can now import Indicators of Compromise into their baseline once and then easily push them out to tenants. They can also clearly see which tenants are missing them and perform routine monthly maintenance much more efficiently. This has dramatically reduced both time spent and administrative overhead.

inforcer has greatly improved both efficiency and confidence in policy posture for GCS Technologies. Nightly backups and alerting have provided much-needed reassurance and visibility around policy changes, and certificate expiration alerts have significantly reduced risk around Apple MDM management.
inforcer has also surfaced settings and configuration gaps within Microsoft 365 that GCS was not previously aware of. In particular, the Assessments have helped them to quickly identify what is not in place and where opportunities for improvement exist.
